Peace Tree Desserts Launches at Westport Farmers’ Market
Thank you to all who came out to the Westport Farmers’ Market today to taste our new line of eco-luxe Cajeta Caramel sauces! The Applejack Cajeta Caramel, made with local goat’s milk, organic sugar, and Applejack from a Hudson Valley small-batch distillery, was definitely the favored flavor of the day. Among others was our Chocolate Espresso Cocoa Nib Cookies, Rosemary Cajeta Caramel Brioche Cinnamon Rolls, Lemon-Thyme Meringue Cupcakes, and Salted Caramel filled Chocolate Dipped Profiteroles! The day was a huge success and we’re looking forward to sharing more of our sustainable dessert creations and baked goods with you in the markets to come.
First FREE Tasting and Sale of Peace Tree Desserts’ Eco-Luxe Cajeta Caramel Sauces
We are so thrilled to announce the first FREE tasting of Peace Tree Desesrts’ new eco-luxe line of Cajeta Caramel sauces! Our Cajeta Caramel is made by hand in small batches with goat’s milk from Connecticut family farms. Like dulce de leche? You will LOVE Cajeta Caramel! The first public tasting and sale of Peace Tree’s Cajeta Caramel sauces will take place on Thursday, May 26, from 10 am until 2 pm at the award-winning Westport Farmers’ Market at the Imperial Avenue Parking lot adjacent to the Women’s Club. We’re inviting everyone to enjoy a complimentary tasting, and support some of our local farmers and artisans while you’re there. Anyone who signs up for the Friend of the Westport Market loyalty program on opening day will be eligible to participate in a drawing to win a free jar of Cajeta Caramel sauce! Four winners will be drawn and market master Lori Cochran will announce the lucky recipients every hour, beginning at 11am
